TOWN OF DELAVAN FINANCE MEETING OF September 19, 2011 @ 4 P.M.

1. Chair Simons called the meeting to order @ 4.
2. Roll Call- All Members were present.
3. Simons declared a Quorum for doing business.
4. Motion to approve the Agenda by Laura second by Don.
5. Communications: NONE
6. Comments and Suggestions: NONE
7. OLD BUSINESS- NONE ( Actually the plan and budget should be old business)
8. NEW BUSINESS-
9. Discussion /possible recommendation: 5-10 year plan- Ryan let the committee know

that John and himself met w/ someone from UW extenstion planning a schedule

for capital improvements, financial availability, renewal of grants.

1. Committee was given a new budget, revenue for property tax is correct,

Wages for the Clerk, Treasurer, Police Secretary and Town Admin.

Increase state aid- water  plus 6000. Also increase a new line item

For the cell phone tower 24,000.

Chief f Smith was present and was willing to make some cuts to his budget.

Telephone cut -400. Marine operation operating expense – 250, gas and oil – 200.

Herb met with Jackie Bush from the Chamber add 1000.

Motion was made by Barb to recommend all changes of the budget, and using approx

4000. from contingency to balance the budget w a second by Don. All in favor.

           9. Comments and Suggestion : Phil wanted to Thank the Committee for a great job .
