FRIDAY MEMO

Please take time to read this week’s Friday Memo- -a general recap of the week.  As always, should you like more information, I ask that you call the office, e-mail or stop in.  Thanks for your continued support. 

1. The Theatre Rd. improvement project with Williams Bay is now open for traffic.  Notice the pedestrian path on one side of the road is similar in concept to what may be proposed for South Shore Dr.  
2. Special Board Meeting is scheduled for next Monday at 4:30 to consider insurance proposals and police boat motor replacement.  
3. Requested a review by SEWRPC of the Primary Environmental Corridor designation on the Benaim Trust property for sale along South Shore Dr.  Teska Associates is evaluating options for possible future development. 
4. Please let me know if you are planning to attend the Annual Towns Convention October 3-6 in La Crosse.   
5. The notice for the DLSD Commissioner vacancy is advertised in the Delavan Enterprise and posted.  Let me know if you would like a copy of the ad e-mailed directly to you or someone interested.  Candidates will be interviewed by the Board at the COW Meeting on September 13.
6. Notice for the Public Hearing on addressing and new signage is advertised and posted.  The ordinance revisions are soon ready for review.
7. Let me know if you would like a copy of the proposed conditional uses for Shodeen that will be reviewed and considered by the Plan Commission on Sept 7. 
8. If you have interest in serving with park fundraising efforts, (Friends of the Park), please let us know.
