November 11, 2008 Annual Budget Meeting

OFFICIAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 7:00
p.m. in the Community Center at Community Park, State Road 50 and
South Shore Drive, Town of Delavan, WI, a PUBLIC HEARING on the
PROPOSED 2009 BUDGET of the Town of Delavan, Walworth County, will be
held.  The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at
the town clerk’s office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through
Friday.  Attached is a summary of the proposed 2009 Budget

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE 
ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF DELAVAN,
 WALWORTH COUNTY

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 immediately
following completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2009
Budget, which begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Park Building, a
Special Town meeting of the electors called pursuant to Section 60.12
(1) (a) of Wisconsin Statutes by the Town Board for the following
purposes will be held.
a)	To approve the total 2009 highway expenditures pursuant to Section
82.03 (2) of Wisconsin Statutes
b)	To adopt the 2008 town tax levy to be paid in 2009 pursuant to
Section 60.10 (1) (a) of Wisconsin Statutes
c)	To change the Treasurers’ position from elected to
appointed/hired
d)	To change the Clerks’ position from elected to appointed/hired

The Town of Delavan Town Board will hold a Special Town Board meeting
immediately following the Special Town Meeting on Tuesday, November
11, 2008, in the Community Center at Community Park, State Road 50 and
South Shore Drive, Town of Delavan, WI.

Any person who has a qualifying disability as defined by the American

the meeting to be in an accessible location or format must contact the
Town of Delavan, 5621 Town Hall Road, Delavan Wisconsin at least
twenty –four hours prior to the commencement of the meeting so that
necessary arrangements can be made to accommodate the request.
