Special Meeting
The Town of Delavan Town Board will hold a special Town Board Meeting
in the Delavan Town hall 5621 Town Hall Road, Delavan, Wisconsin, on
Wednesday May 9, 2007 at 6:30 P.M
Agenda
1. Call to order.
2. Roll Call.
3. Declaration of a Quorum present for doing business
4. Communications
Pat Morelli: “Do you know what account the cell phone comes out of>”
Chair Polzin: We have to decide.”
Treasure Morelli: “We need to know where to put the bill.”
Chair Polzin: “I don’t know where do the rest of them come out of?”
Clerk Bernsteen: “They were ran through committee, before hand and
decided there; here because it was up in the air, we need to know
where it goes.”
Chair Polzin: “We will have to figure out where it goes is all I can
tell you.
Clerk Bernsteen: “These happened after we did the agenda; Chuck
Marsala has a liquor license that needs to put on the agenda for next
weeks meeting.”
Chair Polzin: “We will do that at the next meeting.”
Clerk Bernsteen: “I did not know, I thought those had to be brought
up at the meeting.
Chair Polzin, they went through the committee already, and then it is
a recommendation of the Administrative committee to the Town Board.”
5. Comments and suggestion of citizens presents
Larry Malsch: “1417 First St, I see under your new business that you
are going to have possible appointments of town committees; I would
hope that these appointments are of the citizens?”
Chair Polzin: “Yes”
Larry Malsch: “I hope they are not going to be political or with
prejudice, I under stand there are two people on the park committee
that may not get reappointed, and I think that is a shame that we
loose Fran Froukie, and Dick Brown, they have been very positive and
committed to the town and I think they have done a great job. They
were an asset to me when I was park chairman.”
Chair Polzin: “Thank you for your opinion.”
6. Old business:
Reconfirm Appointment of Town Chairman
Supervisor Wolfgram made a motion that we reconfirm the appointment
of the Town Chairman, Supervisor Franzen second, the appointee is
Wayne Polzin.
Discussion None
All in favor say Aye (Jim and Kay), Clerk Bernsteen, Nay, Chair
Polzin is abstaining, so the vote is 2-1.
7. New Business
Possible, appointment of supervisors two fill the two vacant
supervisor positions.
Chair Polzin: “After going over the applications that I received and
that I figured the applicants that were going the way the town, I
believe should be going, the first appointment I am going to make is
Frank Jones, and I put that in the form of a motion, I ask for the
approval of the town board Members and the Town Clerk.” So there is a
motion on the floor.
Supervisor Franzen second
Discussion” None
All in favor say Aye, apposed, Motion carried unanimously.
Chair Polzin: “At this time Dixie I ask that you swear in Mr.
Jones.”
Clerk Bernsteen: “Can we do that after the meeting?”
Chair Polzin: “No, I would like it done at this time, we will recess
for that, I would like for him to be part of the meeting for the rest
of the way.”
Frank Jones was sworn into office by Clerk Bernsteen.
Chair Polzin: “Congratulations Frank, and if you want to come up and
have a seat.”
Chair Polzin: “The second one I have chose from the list that was
submitted to me is Herb Sessner, and I don’t believe Herb is here this
evening, but I make a motion that Herb Sessner be appointed to the
second open spot on the town board, is there a second on that
motion?”
Supervisor Wolfgram second, discussion none, Motion carried
unanimously
Possible appointments to Town Committees
Now there is the possible or appointments of town committees, I have
most of it done. I am going to ask that the Town Board Supervisors
support my appointments.

Motion made to adjourn by Supervisor Wolfgram and second by
