April 9, 2008
1. Call to order by Chair Polzin at 6:00 P.M.

Polzin.

Committees Reports
a. Reports/discussion of Administrative meeting for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.
NONE
b. Reports/discussion of Emergency Government meeting for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.
NONE
c. Reports/discussion of ETZ meeting for agenda preparation of
monthly board meeting.
The City of Elkhorn would not give permits to Church for ETZ zoning,
a meeting is scheduled for March 24th with Elkhorn about this.
d. Reports/discussion of Finance meeting for agenda preparation of
monthly board meeting.

e. Reports/discussion of Fire & Rescue meeting for agenda preparation
of monthly board meeting.
i. Larry Lester needs the contract for mutual aid. John has and will
get out for him.
ii. Table until next month to have Wisconsin Department of Commerce
representative come and explain the duties of Fire Chief and Rescue
Chief. Will be on monthly board meeting in May.
f. Reports/discussion of Lake meeting for agenda preparation of
monthly board meeting.
John to set date for final resolution Brown’s Channel, this will be a
Special Board meeting not public hearing.
Attorney Wassel gave an update on the Hey & Associates law suit, all
depositions have been taken.
g. Reports/discussion of Park and Tourism meeting for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.

h. Reports/discussion of Planning Commission meeting for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.
i. Plan Commission approves the variance for decks and shed built
by previous owner as seen on survey without any specifications as to
distances of the variances on property located at 2312 Lake Shore
Drive, Tax Key No. FSS 00006. Property owned by Robert and Laura
Charland.
ii. Plan Commission approves Conditional use request with zoning
of B3 (2c) boat and marine supplies and B (2Q) and a second dwelling
unit with conditions for Greg Kunes, property located at 3542B Highway
50 Tax Key No. FA 120300001.
Conditions:
1. Signage may be replaced in the present location and is to be the
same size of 4’ X 6’.
2. Any exterior lighting on t he property, including the signage, is
to comply with Yerkes Observatory Lighting requirements.
3. Parking of either boats or vehicles is not to intrude on the road
right of way or obstruct the highway vision from driveways.
4. Any outside storage is to be in the fenced in area behind the
building, no storage is to be in the roadside parking lot.
iii. Plan Commission approves Gerard and Barbara Nettesheim’s
rezone 20 acre parcel from A1 to C2, which is located at 4411
Cobblestone Road, Tax Key No. FD 9000003B.
i. Reports/discussion of Police and Water Safety meeting for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.
Committee would like to purchase a new Expedition. Chief will check
blue book for resale or trade in. This is not in budget and need to
find out where money is coming from. It was decided it would come
from the Equipment Replacement Fund.
Personnel changes Officer Renz is now full time, Officer Decker
turned down the full time position, the position and has now been
accepted by Officer Radloff.
Sergeant Voss will replace Acting Sergeant Ambach on the Police and
Water Safety Committee.
j. Reports/discussion of Public Works meeting for agenda preparation
of monthly board meeting.
Chair Polzin explained Inlet road drainage study.
k. Reports/discussion of all other recommendations for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.
New Appointments
Barb Militello will be joining the Administrative, Finance and
Intergovernmental Committees.
Frank Jones will be joining the Fire/Rescue and Lake Committees.
Officer Voss will be the liaison for Police and Water Safety
Committee.
Herb Sessner will also join the Plan Commission and Finance
Committee.
It was discussed changing the Town Board Meeting back to 7:00PM; the
board would like to wait a few more months before making a decision.
Borg and Linn road needs repair, John and Barb to check with Mike
about this complaint.
8. Adjournment
Chair Polzin made a motion to adjourn the motion was seconded by
Supervisor Franzen, motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at
7:25PM.
