July 9, 2008
1. Call to order by Chair Polzin at 6:00 P.M.
2. Roll Call Chair Polzin stated all board members were present

Committees Reports
a. Reports/discussion of Administrative meeting for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.

b. Reports/discussion of Emergency Government meeting for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.

c. Reports/discussion of ETZ meeting for agenda preparation of
monthly board meeting.

d. Reports/discussion of Finance meeting for agenda preparation of
monthly board meeting.

e. Reports/discussion of Fire & Rescue meeting for agenda preparation
of monthly board meeting.
Supervisor Wolfgram stated that Chief Edwards had concerns about the
budget.
Treasurer Morelli is to give a report at the board at the board
meeting on the concerns of all departments. Chair Polzin expressed
that maybe we should combine the Clerk and Treasurer Position and make
the position appointed. The board then can replace the person if they
are not doing their job correctly. Supervisor Wolfgram questioned if
the accountability for fuel was being recorded and were we getting
taxes back from the state at the end of the year. Supervisor
Militello stated she has asked that question but has not yet gotten an
answer. Chair Polzin suggested that the departments head put the
information request in writing for treasurer. Supervisor Wolfgram
stated the gas meters have been adjusted and are more accurate.
f. Reports/discussion of Lake meeting for agenda preparation of
monthly board meeting.
Supervisor Wolfgram stated the committee received a proposal from
Sanitary District for work on Dam. There is an outstanding statement
from Leisch needs to know if it should be paid, it is part of the Hey
and Associates law suite. Supervisor Wolfgram is to check with
attorney. Supervisor Wolfgram received a letter from Karen Ferrard a
Browns Channel dredging complaint. This has not been taken care of by
Leisch; Supervisor Wolfgram is to contact attorney for advice on what
should be done. Baxter Woodman has the proposal ready for required
measurement for inlet and the committee would like this to be
approved. The committee would like to send a letter to the City of
Delavan concerning the development of Cities and Lake Lawns primary
environment corridor. (Copy on File) Chair Polzin suggested the
committee check into proper zoning at this time it is zoned light
industry and should be Hotel/Restaurant. A meeting should be set up
to speak with Bloom and the board to discuss Lake Lawn and their
building at Lake Lawn.
g. Reports/discussion of Park and Tourism meeting for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.
Supervisor Franzen stated the Committee voted to be part of an ice
fishing tournament in February, this could be a possible budget item.
It was discovered at the July 4th celebration that the electrical
needs to be upgraded at the park from 200 to 400 amp service. With
all of the activities the breaker box malfunctioned. An estimate to
change is around $4000. The committee is to check with electrician to
be sure wiring does not also need to be changed. This may be a budget
item for 2009.
h. Reports/discussion of Planning Commission meeting for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.
Supervisor Jones state their will be a special meeting July 17th with
PDI at 7:00 P.M. at the Police Department concerning smart growth.
i. Reports/discussion of Police and Water Safety meeting for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.

j. Reports/discussion of Public Works meeting for agenda preparation
of monthly board meeting.
Valencia property owners will be sent a letter regarding opening up
culverts that have been blocked with rocks or filled in by the
property owner.
k. Reports/discussion of all other recommendations for agenda
preparation of monthly board meeting.

8. Adjournment
Supervisor Jones made a motion to adjourn with a second by Supervisor
Franzen, motion carried unanimously.
Chair Wolfgram adjourned the meeting at 7:00 P.M.
