Town of Delavan Website Wins Digital Excellence Award

The winners of the 13th Annual W3 Awards have been announced by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts today. Receiving over 50,000 entries from across the globe, the W3 Awards honor outstanding Websites, Web Marketing, Web Video and Social content created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers and creators worldwide.

The Town of Delavan website, at townofdelavan.com, received a W3 Silver Award in recognition of digital excellence in the category of general websites – government use. The website, created by Bee-line Communications, was recognized for successfully combining town government business and information, with a blend of tourism appeal for an overall effective and compelling user experience. The new Town of Delavan site launched in May, and continues to offer updated content and information to facilitate the needs of the town and its related departments.

“As a resident of the town, it was a pleasure to have my agency do the work and highlight all the wonderful things the town offers. We were especially pleased to highlight the resources of our beautiful community parks and lake,” said Stacey McClenathan, Bee-line Communications CEO.

The W3 Awards is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms.
